SEQer™ Antibodies

All rabbits are Specific Pathogen Free (SPF). Healthy animals make great antibodies.
Mean serum yields 50-75 mL of antiserum per rabbit.
Mean IgG concentration in immune rabbit sera is 4 mg/mL.
Mean specific antibody concentration is 0.15 to 0.5 mg/mL.
Antigen requirement: 1.6 - 2.0 mgs per 2-rabbit protocol

All animals are Blue Tongue Disease Free. Healthy animals make great antibodies.
No Blue Tongue means our plasma is easily exported to other countries.
Yield is 1,100 ml defibrinated plasma.
Antigen requirement: 2.4 to 5.0 mgs.

If expected titer is not obtained at day 168, the project can be extended and plasmapheresis is not performed until expected titers are reached.
